Bettie Coles, age 101, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 19, in Evanston. She loved to travel and visited many countries with her husband, Bud. She was an accomplished organist, sewer, crafter, baker and jam maker.
She is survived by four kids, eight grandkids, 28 great-grandkids and 25 great-great-grandkids.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 29, at the Presbyterian Church in Evanston, followed by graveside services at the Evanston Cemetery.
