Charles “Chip” Allen Rowden, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 6, at age 69.
Born June 21, 1957, Chip lived a life defined by love for his family, commitment to others, and a strong sense of community. He was a devoted husband to Virginia and loving father to Claresa, Phillip and Vincent.
Chip’s greatest joy was his family. He was a proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren and great-grandfather to two great-grandchildren. His family will forever cherish the memories, laughter, lessons and love he shared with them.
Chip was an active member of his community and belonged to his local motorcycle club, UMF, Eagles Club, NRA, dart league and pool league. Through these friendships, he built lasting connections and touched many lives.
He is survived by Virginia; Claresa; Phillip and his wife, Carrie; Vincent and his wife, Leah; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Chip will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
A celebration of life will be announced via Facebook at a later date.
