Notice is hereby given that the Wyoming Department of Transportation has accepted as completed according to plans, specifications and rules governing the same work performed under that certain contract between the State of Wyoming and Kilgore Companies, LLC dba Lewis & Lewis, Inc., The Contractor, on Highway Project Number B233004 in Uinta County, consisting of asphalt paving, aggregate surfacing, sidewalk/curb & gutter, grading, traffic control and storm water drainage work and the Contractor is entitled to final settlement therefore; that the Director of the Department of Transportation will cause said Contractor to be paid the full amount due him under said contract on May 27, 2025.

Invitation to submit proposals

Uinta County is seeking proposals for removal of top seals, cleaning of old sealant, cleaning of glass panels, installation of new sealant, and top seals to the glass atrium at the county complex located at 225 9th street in Evanston, Wyoming

This project will require an on-site inspection prior to proposal submission, pre-submittal meeting will be held at the above location on April 25th, 2025 at 10 a.m. Project specifications will be released at that time. Contractor must comply with the Wyoming Preference Act; carry required insurance, and all city and state licenses.

Proposals need to include schedule and completion time to based on a purchase OK given by 5/7/2025.

All proposals must be submitted by 5/2/2025 before 5 p.m. at county clerk’s office to be considered; county will review all proposals at 9am on April 5th, 2025 at Uinta County Courthouse maintenance department

PUBLIC NOTICE

  1. Pursuant to the Wyoming Administrative Procedure Act and the Wyoming Public Service Commission’s (Commission) Rules, notice is hereby given that a public hearing is scheduled regarding Rocky Mountain Power’s (RMP or the Company) request for authority to reduce the Carbon Capture Compliance Charge (Schedule 198). The public hearing is set to commence on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., in the Commission’s hearing room located at 2515 Warren Avenue, Suite 300, in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
  2. RMP is a division of PacifiCorp, an Oregon corporation, engaged in the business of supplying electric utility service to customers throughout its six-state service territory, including Wyoming. RMP is a public utility, subject to the Commission’s jurisdiction. Wyo. Stat. §§ 37-l-101(a)(vi)(C) and 37-2-112.
  3. On October 1, 2024, RMP filed an Application requesting authority to reduce the Carbon Capture Compliance Charge (Schedule 198) from 0.30% to 0.12% per month, and find that the costs incurred from 2022 through August 2024, pursuant to Wyoming Statutes §§ 37-18-101 and 37-18-102, and the Commission’s rules regarding low-carbon portfolio standards (collectively, HB 200 requirements) were prudently incurred. RMP has requested an effective date of January 1, 2025.
  4. Wyoming Industrial Energy Consumers (WIEC) and the Office of the Consumer Advocate (OCA) petitioned to intervene in this matter, which the Commission granted by Order issued on November 26, 2024.

NOTICE OF REAL ESTATE

FORECLOSURE SALE

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to Wyoming Stat. Ann. § 34-4-101 et seq., that:

Ted Paskett, as obligor and mortgagor, executed a Home Equity Line Credit Agreement in favor of Zions First National Bank, nka Zions Bancorporation N.A., secured by a Mortgage in favor of Zions First National Bank nka Zions Bancorporation N.A. as mortgagee.

The Mortgage is dated October 14, 2010, and recorded October 14, 2010, as entry no. R153432, in Book 957, at pages 750 et seq., in the office of the Uinta County Clerk, Wyoming.

The amount due to Zions Bancorporation N.A., as of the date of this notice is Fifty-Eight Thousand, Six Hundred Seventeen Dollars and 00/100 ($58,617.00), plus attorney’s fees incurred.

The Mortgaged Premises is identified as:

Lot 8 in Block 11 of the Centennial Valley Estates 1st Addition now being located in the City of Evanston, Uinta County, Wyoming, according to plat recorded December 9, 1980, as instrument no. 356758 and correction affidavit recorded June 22, 1990 in Book 575, Page 355, in the office of the Uinta County Clerk.

The property may be commonly known as 97 Union Circle, Evanston, Wyoming.

Default in the payment of principal and interest has occurred under the terms of the Home Equity Line Credit Agreement and the Mortgage.  The Mortgage contains a power of sale which, by reason of default, the Mortgagee declares to have become operative, and no suit or proceeding has been instituted at law to recover the debt secured by the Mortgage or any part thereof, nor has any such suit or proceeding been instituted and the same discontinued. A written notice of intent to foreclose the Mortgage was issued on February 14, 2025, to the mortgagor, and to the record owner and party in possession of the mortgaged property.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 28th day of April, 2025, at the Uinta County Courthouse in Evanston, Wyoming, at the hour of 1:00 o’clock p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, the Court will conduct a hearing on the Petition of Jack Roger McBride for the ancillary administration of the Estate of Steven Joe McBride, deceased, who was a resident of the County of Montague, State of Texas, and who owned property in the County of Uinta, State of Wyoming, not exceeding the value of $200,000.00.

Any person objecting to said Petition may appear at said hearing and show cause for his/her objection.

If no objection is made to said Petition on the day set for hearing, then the Court shall make an Order admitting to record in this Court the file-marked copies of the proceedings of the County Court of Montague for the State of Texas, and said proceedings shall be considered and treated from that time as original proceedings in the court.
