Notice is hereby given that the State of Wyoming, Wyoming Military Department, has accepted as complete, according to plans, specifications, and rules governing the same, the work performed under that certain Contract No. 22011903409 between the State of Wyoming, Wyoming Military Department and A. Pleasant Construction, whose address is 1 Pleasant Way, Green River, WY 82935, for the work performed, materials, equipment, or tools furnished or used and services rendered for the substantial completion of the Pavement Maintenance project, Task #9, RFP 22-0119, at Evanston, Uinta County, Wyoming. The contractor is entitled to final settlement therefore; that the Wyoming Military Department will cause said Contractor to be paid the full amount due him under said contract on February 24, 2025. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
The Uinta County Library-Evanston is requesting price proposals for the demolition and preparation of seven (7) restrooms for the installation of tile on floors and walls. The project consists of removing existing tile, toilets, sinks, changing tables, stalls, patching sheetrock and preparing the rooms for tile on the floors and walls. The contractor will be responsible for measuring and quantifying the square footage for the project. There will be a separate contract for the installation of the tile. Coordination with the contractor completing the tile of the restrooms. Contractors will be allowed to complete two restrooms at a time which allows the library to have usable restrooms throughout the construction. Demolition and preparation for the tile will take place on Monday’s, weekends and evenings. Contractors are welcome to schedule a time to visit the site for measurements if needed outside of the pre-proposal visit. First Regular Meeting
December 3rd, 2024
The official record of proceedings of the first regular meeting of the Evanston City Council for the month of December was held in the Council Chambers of City Hall on the above date. These proceedings were video recorded and streamed live.
Mayor Williams led those in attendance in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
The roll was called and with a quorum being present, Mayor Williams called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. and welcomed everyone present.
Those present from the governing body at the start of the meeting were: Mayor Williams; Council members, Tim Lynch, Jesse Lind, Dave Welling, Mike Sellers and Jen Hegeman. Evan Perkes was excused.
Staff members present at the start of the meeting were: City Attorney/Prosecutor, Mark Harris; City Clerk, Diane Harris; City Treasurer, Trudy Lym; City Engineer, Damon Newsome; Information Technology Coordinator, Preston Sheets; Community Development Director, Rocco O’Neill; Public Works Director, Gordon Robinson; Police Chief, Michael Vranish and Director of Parks and Recreation, Kim Larson. A group of interested citizens was also present.

Parade Route Permit requested by Downtown Evanston for the Annual Parade of Lights on Thursday, December 5th, 2024, beginning at 6:00 pm at the Uinta County Library parking lot on Main Street. The parade will go down Main Street to the Machine Shop Parking Lot and disperse.
Parade Route Permit requested by Downtown Evanston for the Jingle Bell Jaunt 5K Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, December 7th, 2024, beginning at 8:55 a.m. at the Strand Theater.
Parade Route Permit requested by the Uinta County Police Officers Association for the Shop with a Sheriff for Special Education Students Parade on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Evanston High School and ending at Walmart.
