Sealed BIDS to furnish all labor, materials and perform all work associated with the Evanston Recreation Center Building Pickleball and Basketball Court Project will be received by the City of Evanston, Wyoming at the office of the City Clerk, 1200 Main Street, Evanston, Wyoming 82930 until 11:00 pm local time Wednesday, May 10, 2023, and then, at said office publicly opened and read aloud. 

The scope of work shall consist of building 4 Pickle Ball Courts and 2 Basketball Courts and all other services needed to complete this project.

Bid documents may be obtained from the Evanston Parks and Recreation located at 275 Saddle Ridge Rd, Evanston, WY 82930, phone 307-789-1770.

Each BIDDER will be required to submit, with his proposal, a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check made payable without condition, to the City of Evanston, in the amount not less than five per percent (5%) of the BIDDERS maximum bid price as guarantee that such bidder will enter a contract within ten (10) days after the OWNERS Notice of Award.

Preference will be given to resident Wyoming Contractors; Wyoming made materials and products, and Wyoming suppliers of products and materials in the amount of five percent (5%) of the low bid in accordance with Wyoming Statute 16-6-102 & 104.

The City of Evanston reserves the right to reject any and or all bids, or any part of any bid, or to waive any formality in any bid, as its best interests may appear.

WHEREAS, default in the payment of principal and interest has occurred under the terms of a Promissory Note (the “Note”) dated June 18, 2021, executed and delivered by Daniel Fivas and Sara Cooper (“Mortgagors”) to First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation dba goodmortgage.com, and a real estate Mortgage (the “Mortgage”) of the same date securing the Note, which Mortgage was executed and delivered by said Mortgagors, to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as Mortgagee, as nominee for First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation dba goodmortgage.com, its successors and assigns as Mortgagee, and which Mortgage was recorded on August 2, 2021, at Reception No. 1109840, in Book 2023, at Page 158-173 in the public records in the office of the County Clerk and ex-officio Register of Deeds in and for Uinta County, State of Wyoming; and

WHEREAS, the Mortgage contains a power of sale which by reason of said default, the Mortgagee declares to have become operative, and no suit or proceeding has been instituted at law to recover the debt secured by the Mortgage, or any part thereof, nor has any such suit or proceeding been instituted and the same discontinued; and

WHEREAS, written notice of intent to foreclose the Mortgage by advertisement and sale has been served upon the record owner and the party in possession of the mortgaged premises at least ten (10) days prior to the commencement of this publication, and the amount due upon the Mortgage as of March 31, 2023 being the total sum of $180,582.96, plus interest, costs expended, late charges, and attorneys’ fees accruing thereafter through the date of sale;
