The Uinta County Commissioners met in regular session on October 17, 2023 in the commission chambers, 225 9th Street, Evanston. Acting Chairman Brent Hatch convened meeting at 2:00 p.m. Commissioner Eric South was present; Chairman Mark Anderson was excused.   Also present:  Amanda Hutchinson, County Clerk.

Agenda

Motion South, second Hatch to approve the agenda.  2 yes votes, passed.

Workforce Development Grant Agreement

Motion South, second Hatch to approve a grant agreement, pending correction, between the Wyoming Dept. of Health, Public Health Division and Uinta County for $73,315.56 providing funding to meet public health infrastructure needs and support workforce development.  A request was made to close the Evanston and Lyman Public Health Offices for one half day per month and one full day per year for continuing education, training, and/or presentations as presented by ReaAnna Peltier.  2 yes votes, passed.

T & D Subdivision

Darby Noorda, Planning, opened a public hearing to allow for comments on the T & D Subdivision, a two lot, Industrial zoned subdivision of Lot 1 Block 1 of the Bear River Coal Industrial Park located in SE1/4 NW1/4 of Section 30, T16N R120 W.  Fred Coles, Wasatch Surveying spoke in favor; no one spoke in opposition.  Motion South, second Hatch to approve Resolution 23-36 authorizing the T & D Subdivision.  2 yes votes, passed.

Austin Hills No. 3 Subdivision

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Evanston Housing Authority is accepting sealed bids to remove and replace (24) wall furnaces at out Saddle Ridge apartments.

This project will consist of removing and disposing of existing wall furnaces and provide/install new wall furnaces.

Furnaces will be or equivalent to Williams top vent counterflow wall furnace: 55K BTUH, NG 24V thermostat and 115V fan. The furnace must have intermittent electric ignition. Must also include adapting to existing flue and gas line. This may also require some modification to the existing wall.

This bid is subject to the Davis Bacon Prevailing Wages rule for Public Funded projects.

Bid will be taken until 2pm on November 14 when they will be opened and read aloud in our office located at 155 Apache Dr. Suite A, Evanston WY 82930.
