Terry James Jenson, 61, of Evanston, passed away Tuesday, July 11, after battling health issues.
Terry was born to Cordell and Dona Jenson on May 4, 1962, in Logan, Utah. He grew up on the family farm with his four brothers and one sister. Terry was always hard working and dedicated.
He worked construction most of his life and his latest job was at Wyoming Downs. Terry loved being at the track and was very delighted to work there. He also enjoyed going to the chariot races where he supported his family’s team.
Terry was very compassionate and caring. He was always making phone calls to check on his mother, family members, and his friends. He had a very contagious laugh and infectious smile, which would make anyone’s day.
Terry was blessed with his son Tyrone and three grandchildren, Brynne, Barrett, and Brylee. He was an incredibly proud grandpa who loved them all immensely.
Terry is survived by son, Tyrone Klopfenstein (Stephanie); three grandchildren, Brynne, Barrett and Brylee; his mother, Dona Jenson; his brothers, Tony, Scott (Lesa), Bruce (Natalie); and one sister, Donnell Speth (Stuart); and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Cordell Jenson; brother, Rex; sister, Vickie; and several grandparents; aunts and uncles.
Graveside services were at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 17, at the Millville-Nibley Cemetery in Millville, Utah.
