Mary Ellen Miller was born Nov. 14, 1945, to Mary Eastman and Edwin Osborn in Coalville, Utah. She spent most of her formative years in Evanston, before moving to Salt Lake City.
Mary Ellen loved traveling with her husband of 48 years, reading from her large home library, feeding the wildlife in her yard, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her children and their little ones.
Mary Ellen went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 14.
Those family members who greeted Mary Ellen at the gates of heaven are her parents, Mary and Edwin; her bonus father, Arvel Eastman; and her grandson, Alex Windley.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Frank Terry Miller; her son, Brett Windley (Margie Briscoe); her stepdaughters, Marcie Bonner (Steve), Jana Schmidt (Jeff) and Alana Ferring; her grandchildren, Chante Windley, John Windley (Kody), Cole Windley (Taija), Madison Wright (Korbin), Andrew Bonner and Nicholas Ferring; her great-grandchildren, Mila, Ashton and Austin Windley, and Mason, Isabella and Blake Wright; and her siblings, Arvel “Bud” Eastman, Mae Vonne Adams and Russell Eastman.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. Mary Ellen’s wishes were that she be returned to nature in the many locations where she and her husband, Terry, loved traveling.
