Martin Ray Clark

In loving memory of Martin Ray Clark, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. Martin passed on Tuesday, Aug. 29.

Martin was born Feb. 4, 1934, in Evanston, to Marten Clark and Laura Martin Clark. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 

Martin spent his young life on the family ranch in Hillard. He later joined the U.S. Army Airborne Division where he served his country in the Korean War. During this time, while on leave, he met the love of his life, Arlene, on a blind date. They were later married in the Salt Lake City Temple on May 11, 1956.

Together they had four daughters, seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Martin loved his family the most. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved sharing these adventures with his family.

Martin worked most of his life in the oil and gas industry. He retired from Questar to enjoy a long retirement full of adventures with Arlene and his children.

Martin is preceded in death by wife, Arlene; daughter, Marlene; son-in-law, Robert George; sisters, Marilyn Davis and Connie Early; and parents, Marten and Laura Clark.

Martin is survived by daughters, Lynnae (Brian) Perkins, Donna Fuller and Brenda (Darrel) Hooten; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, Sept. 2, at 11:00 at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, with a viewing at 10 a.m. Visitation was from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday Sept. 1. Burial was in Evanston City Cemetery.
