Jane Kreider of Evanston passed away on Friday, May 29, at Meadow Peak facility in Taylorsville, Utah. Born on Nov. 4, 1942 in Long Beach, California, to John and Thelma Pavlisin, Jane grew up in Evanston and graduated from Evanston High School in 1961.
She married Jack W. Kreider on Aug. 17, 1963, in Jackson. After Jack finished college at the University of Wyoming, they made their home in Evanston, where they ran City Drug for many years. Jane loved to do needlework, as her and many others’ walls can attest.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
She is survived by a brother, Edward Pavlisin; sister-in-law, Joy Walton; niece, Jennifer Storm (Chris); nephews, Patrick Pavlisin (Jordan) and Jeremy Fairbanks (Jennifer); nieces, Kelly Gardner (Richard) and Stacey Wallace (Denny); and grandnephews, Kane Eastman, Brayden Wallace and Weston Wallace.
Jane will be buried next to Jack in the Evanston City Cemetery. No formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to your favorite charity.
