With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jacquelyn Marie Stonebraker; beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, and friend, who left us following a courageous battle with cancer on March 14, 2026. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Born on Feb. 6, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio, Jacque lived a life marked by love, service, and an unwavering commitment to the Lord, her family, and her many friends.
Jacque was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew her. Her sense of humor and laughter were infectious, her kindness boundless, and her spirit indomitable.
She leaves behind a loving family: her husband, William; her daughter, Cynthia; her caring grandchildren, Cassidy, Brooke, Brandon, Shawn and Jordan; her sister, Jennifer; nieces, Kathy and Sonja; and nephews, Orson and Tore; along with a host of friends who were blessed to know her.
Jacque’s legacy is one of love and laughter, she touched countless lives via her calling as a teacher. Though she has left our sight, she will forever remain in our hearts.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 21, at the Evanston Stake Center, 721 W. Cheyenne Dr., Evanston. Viewing will begin at 1 p.m. and the funeral program will follow at 2:30 p.m.
