Jack Warren Kreider

Jack Warren Kreider passed away Sunday, June 25, at his home. He was born April 17, 1943, in Ogden, Utah, to Warren Weston Kreider and Lillian Agnes (Babe) Atkinson. The family moved to Evanston in 1947, his dad having purchased the City Drug.

Jack graduated from EHS in 1961. While in school, he was the manager of the football and basketball teams. He graduated from the College of Pharmacy at the University of Wyoming in July 1968.

Jack married Jane Elizabeth Pavlisin on Aug. 17, 1963, in Jackson.

He took over as manager of City Drug in 1971 and retired in June 2006.

He is survived by his wife; sister, Joy Walton; nieces: Kelly (Richard) Gardner of Rigby, Idaho, Stacey (Denny) Wallace of Evanston, Jennifer (Chris) Storm of West Jordan, Utah; nephews Patrick (Jordan) Pavlisin of Sandy, Utah, and Jeremy (Jennifer) Fairbanks of Eagle Mountain, Utah; brother-in-law, Edward Pavlisin of Sandy, Utah; and three great-nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, John and Thelma Pavlisin; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Pavlisin. At Jack’s request cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held later.
