Mrs. Geraldine (Gerri) Patricia Anderson Wagstaff, 76, was called home by God on Saturday, Dec. 23, surrounded by her family, after a short battle with cancer. Gerri was born May 6, 1947, in Duluth, Minnesota, to Robert and Charlotte (McCarty) Anderson.
Gerri’s career in the banking industry spanned several decades, and she was adored by her colleagues and customers.
She loved her family fiercely and enjoyed family game nights, Christmas, camping, her dogs Pooter and ZigZag, and collecting bears.
She was the glue that held the family together and her absence will be noticed terribly. She was truly a gift to all of us.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Charlotte Anderson; her brother, Thomas Smith; and her infant daughter, Shawna Mullis.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Roy Wagstaff; her children, Todd Mullis (Rachel), Carrie Cordova (Phil) and Chad Mullis (Shannon); her sisters, Debbie Lopez (Jay) and Claudia McCullough (Cliff); her brother, Kenneth Anderson (Stephanie); one niece; one nephew; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many extended family members she called her own.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
