Remembering Gary L. Sims (Gerrard): A wife, mother, sister and aunt who was quiet in her ways and loving to the family she raised. She influenced those around her by observing, listening, and laughing with them.
She spoke truth when it was needed, and remained silent when it was most impactful.
She and (deceased husband’s) Thomas E. Sims’ legacy lives on in their children, Theresa (Sue), Stephen and Stacey Denise; family friend and ”adopted daughter,” Pat Hixson; along with nieces, nephews and in-laws; close family friends and extended family.
She is also survived by brother, Curtis Gerrard (Candyce); and brother in-law Wallace Sims.
