Gale E. Beach, 67, passed away April 14 in Boise, Idaho, after a brief illness.
Gale was born on Dec. 1, 1949, in Evanston, the son of J. Glen Beach and Betty Jean Whittaker Beach. He was raised on a ranch in Mountain View, graduated from Mountain View High School in 1968, attended Utah Technical College and then served in the United States Army in the early 1970s. He lived in Elko, Nevada, and Las Vegas for many years and was residing in Donnelly, Idaho, at the time of his death.
Gale is survived by his mother, Betty Jean Whitsell, of Rock Springs; his stepfather, Darrel Whitsell of Boise, Idaho; his wife, Cheryl Matthews Beach of Donnelly, Idaho; his son, Shane (Heidi) Beach; and grandson, Jayden of Mission Viejo, California; brother Greg (Jamie) Beach of Mountain View; and sister Lynette Beach (Spike) Arnell of Lonetree.
Gale was preceded in death by his father, Glen Beach; brother Gary Beach; sister-in-law Peg Persons Beach; and sister Vicki Jo Beach.
Gale was loved by family and friends and will be missed.
