Della (Duffy) Faye Gerrard, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 27. She was a beloved mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Della was born on Aug. 31, 1947, to Euna Faye Lewis and Lee Buckmaster in Carnegie, Oklahoma, one of seven children.
Della was a devoted wife and mother. She loved reading, spending time with her grandchildren, sharing stories, playing games and watching their favorite TV shows. She was always there to offer guidance, support and encouragement.
Della is preceded in death by her loving husband, James F. Gerrard; her daughter, Shannon Young; grandson, Jesse G. Western; and five siblings.
Surviving are her sisters, Rose (Jose) Gaiteiro and Tammy McJunkin; bonus children, Eric Gerrard, Jeramie (Irene) Gerrard, Amy Gerrard, Randy (Mindy) Gerrard and Susan Gerrard; 11 grandchildren, James Lee Young, Alyssa and Reily Gerrard; Gavin and Tylor Gerrard; Hailey, Carson and Hannah Gerrard; Chiara, Bailee and James Western; and her great-grandchildren, Nora Gerrard and Aria Gerrard.
Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
Private arrangements have been made by the family.
