On Tuesday, Dec. 26, Dana Smith left this world to reunite with her precious baby girl, Tiffany Graham, for her next adventure.

Dana spent many years fighting multiple illnesses. She fought long and hard until her body just couldn’t take anymore.

Dana was born on June 16, 1961, in Houston, Texas, to Daniel and Frances (Moeller) O’Brien. Early in life, Dana moved with her mother and brother to Duchesne, Utah, where she was raised with her two brothers and two sisters.

Dana married young in life and had three beautiful children from this marriage, Branden, Dustin and Tiffany Graham.

Dana later met and married the love of her life, Mark Smith, on March 30, 2002. She loved her life with Mark, and he was her best friend.

Dana loved her dogs, her family and her friends. She loved arts and crafts and enjoyed making presents for the people in her life. She also loved to play the slot machines.

At the age of 50, she worked hard and received her GED, which made her proud.

Dana’s life wasn’t an exciting one, but it was her life and she loved it. She touched many lives and will surely be missed.

Dana is survived by her husband, Mark Smith; her sons, Branden (Jessie) and Dustin Graham; her two brothers, Richard (Peggy) O’Brien and Cory Moeller; two sisters, Stacy Moeller and Candice Caves; five grandchildren, Hunter, Payton, Keagun, Kingsley and Huxley Graham; one great-grandson, Brixton Graham; many nieces and nephews; her daughter-in-law and friend, Shari Graham; and her in-laws, Janet Smith and Gene and Carlene Vey.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Tiffany Graham; mother, Frances Moeller; father, Daniel O’Brien; mother-in-law, Marlene Smith; and many friends.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30, at the Crandall Funeral Home. Visitations were held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29, and again from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, prior to services.
