Chris passed away very unexpectedly on Feb. 3.
He was born on Oct. 17, 1974, to Ken and Mary Ogden in San Leandro, California. In his teens, he moved to Wyoming with his parents.
In his youth, Chris loved his skateboards. He loved to take things apart just to see how they worked and if he could put them back together.
He was very good with computer skills and technology. He loved having barbecues and hanging out with family and friends.
Chris loved his children, despite their differences.
Chris married Shay Westonskow in 1994; they later divorced.
He married Chantel Hayes in 2004; they later divorced.
Chris finally found his peace when moving to Puerto Rico in his final years. There he found his dream job and was just recently promoted to supervisor shortly before his passing.
He had a wide circle of friends who all loved him very dearly.
While he was in Puerto Rico Chris found true happiness and peace. San Juan became his true home, and he was the happiest he had ever been in his life. He loved his dog, Spike — they were always together and inseparable.
Chris is survived by his mother, Mary; his children, CJ, Shaycie (Colby) and Dean; sisters, Monica and Lisa Marie; niece, Christy; nephew, Leo; his beautiful granddaughters, Miah, Everleigh and Kenzlie; aunts; uncles; and many cousins and other loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ken; his grandparents; and brothers, Ken Jr. and Mark.
Chris, we will love you forever, and you will always be in our hearts.
Services were held in Puerto Rico, and services for family and friends will be held at a later time.
