Anna Jane (Janey) Bideler Jacobson, 74, of Evanston, passed away on June 11, at the University Hospital in Salt Lake City.

Janey was born in Paris, Arkansas, to Charles Bideler and Millie Noreen Pettigrew Bideler on Jan. 23, 1951. She spent her younger life in California.

Janey married Jimme Jacobson in California on June 5, 1978. They moved around a lot for his work and eventually settled in Randolph, Utah. In 2014, they moved to Evanston.

She loved animals and raised everything from dogs, cats, peacocks, bobcats, chickens, exotic birds, a goat to a cow named Oreo.

She loved her home and spent a lot of time keeping it comfortable. She loved her neighbors and took care of several elderly people. She was always there with a meal for people who needed it.

Janey is survived by her husband, Jimme; three brothers, Dwight (Gail), Bill (Rosemary) and Jim; three nieces, Sharon, Cindy and Pamela; her in-laws, brother Brad (Linda) and sisters Joleen and Kayleen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Bob and Gene; and her in-laws, Robert Rayl and Buck King.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
