Darrell Powell Staley passed away peacefully on May 21 in Evanston. He was born April 16, 1928, in Coalville, Utah, to Claude Solomon Staley and Sybil Melissa Powell Staley. His younger years were spent on the family ranch in Upton, Utah. On April 25, 1949, he married Lola Marie Clark in Ogden, Utah.
He is survived by his children Linda (Phil) Willoughby, Karen Goetz, LaWanna Staley, Barbara (Norm) Anderson, Terrie (Jeff) Hockin, Darrin (Tammy) Staley, Suz (Kael) Jasperson, Rene (JD) Barnett, John Stocco and Jerry (Julie) Oney. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Darrell is preceded in death by both wives, Lola and Lena; sons Lee and Darrell Dee; daughter Tracey; and his parents and siblings.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 26, at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, with a viewing at 10 a.m. (one hour prior to services). His final resting place will be in the Evanston Cemetery.
