EVANSTON — Western Wyoming Community College (WWCC) Evanston Outreach presented at the Evanston Chamber of Commerce luncheon on July 11, at the Legal Tender.
Coordinator Traci Dodsworth and Assistant Maria Cazarez presented information and fielded questions about WWCC’s local offerings, including newer programs such as cyber security, electrical instrumentation and powerline training. Of the latter, Dodsworth said “students who graduated in the spring are already getting jobs.”
The WWCC Evanston Outreach is located inside the Uinta BOCES #1 building on the first floor. It offers dual and concurrent, online and on-campus advising. Math and English placement testing, test proctoring, peer tutoring, access to wellness and accessibility center and in-person classes are also available. Assistance applying for financial aid and scholarships is provided as needed.
“If you don’t know what you want to do, get your generals here — it’s a great place to start,” Dodsworth said.
Student clubs, leadership opportunities and intramural sports are also available.
