The Week 7 wyowrestling.com rankings are out, and Evanston has six wrestlers represented in the top seven in Class 4A.
Senior Blake Overy maintained his spot at No. 1 at 220 pounds, while Saige Synan is third at 152 and Gavin Simmons is fourth at 195.
Pablo Escalante is fifth at 182 while Nena Sowers (113) and Rylie Griggs (170) are both ranked sixth.
Evanston will host a regional tournament today and Saturday before state kicks off next week in Casper.
In Class 3A action, Lyman and Mountain View are both represented.
Lyman’s Dryden Menck maintained his spot at the top of the 195-pound class, Colton Ellison is third at 132 and Colton VanGieson is sixth at 160.
Mountain View’s Kylar Hamilton is ranked seventh at 152.
The Eagles and Buffalos will compete in a regional tournament today and Saturday at Lyman.
