The city council needs to work for you. You cannot expect the city government to represent you effectively if you stay silent. I appreciate those who voted for me in this year’s primary; now, I invite you to vote for Henry Schmidt for Ward 1, Evanston City Council.
He has been a longtime citizen of Evanston and surrounding areas. He has served in law enforcement in various regional offices and positions before retiring in 2005. Henry continues his service as a consultant and instructor for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
He is also an active member of Uinta County Search and Rescue, Wyoming’s Child abduction Response team, and FEMA Disaster Response team. Henry is a fresh voice and will listen to differing views and will act tempered by his history of nonpartisan community service.
