June 5-11, 2017

Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 94 incidents between the dates of Monday, June 5, and Sunday, June 11. Incidents included three alarms, two ambulance or medical assists, simple assault, eight agency assists, a citizen dispute, domestic violence, explosives/an incendiary problem, three fires, a family problem, harassment, an intoxicated person, two juvenile runaways, a missing person, five traffic accidents with property damage, two traffic complaints, a traffic hazard, two incidents of threatening, property theft, two incidents of trespassing, unsecure premises, five wanted persons, a water dispute and four welfare checks.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested six persons between the dates of June 5 and June 11. 

Adam E. Gerrard, of Evanston, was arrested on a drug court sanction.

Joshua A. Perry, of Evanston, was arrested for a scheduled jail sentence. 

Troy P. Rains, of Evanston, was arrested on a drug court sanction. 

Austin S. Snyder, of Lyman, was arrested for battery. 

Benjamin J. Taylor, of Fort Bridger, was arrested for domestic battery and for misdemeanor probation violation.

Brent U. Wall, of Evanston, was arrested after being found guilty at a jury trial for first degree sexual abuse of a minor.
