Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 128 incidents between the dates of Monday, July 3, and Sunday, July 9. Incidents included 12 agency assists, child abuse or neglect, a DUI, five incidents of driving under suspension, two family fights, three fires, littering/pollution, a minor in possession, a missing person, two sex offenses, a hit and run, three traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, theft, five wanted persons and two welfare checks. 

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested seven persons between the dates of July 3 and July 9. 

Cesar A. Amador, of West Valley, Utah, was arrested for failing to appear. 

Scott P. Anders, Jr., of St. George, Utah, was arrested for failing to maintain insurance. 

James A. Hart, of Lyman, was arrested on warrant out of Uinta County. 

Erin T. Osterling, of Evanston, was arrested after having been found guilty of delivering a controlled substance. 

Joshua C. Painton, of West Valley, Utah, was arrested for driving while under suspension, for failing to maintain insurance, for being a minor in possession and for a second or third offense of driving under the influence. 

Tyler C. Steed, of Riverton, Utah, was arrested for reckless endangering. 

Mathew J. Titmus, of Lyman, was arrested for failing to appear.
