Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents
July 1-7, 2019
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 124 incidents between the dates of Monday, July 1, and Sunday, July 7. Incidents included an assault, eight ambulance or medical assists, seven animal problems, eight agency assists, two citizen complaints, three citizen disputes, two citizen assists, controlled substance use, marijuana possession, domestic violence, a DUI, DWUS, a family fight, six fires, a fireworks incident, a juvenile problem, two livestock problems, a minor in possession of alcohol, a protection order violation, five rancher contacts, three suspicious incidents, a hit and run, four traffic accidents with property damage, two traffic accidents with personal injury, threatening, a traffic offense, two trespassing incidents, theft, a wanted person and two welfare checks.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested four persons between the dates of July 1 and July 7.
Gary C. Butters, of Lyman, was arrested for second or third-offense driving while under the influence.
John J. Kallbacka, of Evanston, was arrested for attempt/conspiracy.
Christopher K. Ogden, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for possessing a controlled substance.
Jeana L. Reichenberg, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance, being under the influence of a controlled substance and domestic battery.
