EVANSTON — Three people are dead and officials are investigating after an Evanston home was significantly damaged by fire Saturday morning.
“At approximately 5:30 AM, the Evanston Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Worland Circle in Evanston. Upon arrival, crews encountered heavy fire coming out of the front of the house,” states a press release issued by Uinta County Fire and Ambulance. “When crews were able to knock down the flames and enter the structure, they found 3 deceased individuals. The Fire Department and Evanston Police Department are beginning an investigation as to the cause of the fire. Further information will be made available at a later date once the investigation has been completed.”
Worland Circle is south of the Uinta County School District No. 1 Bus Barn on Yellow Creek Road.
Officials have not yet released the names of the three victims.
