The Union Presbyterian Church would like to thank everyone who purchased tickets for the fundraiser held on Oct. 4. The church is very grateful for the overwhelming community support for the stained glass window restoration project.
This project was supported by a grant provided by the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund. Special thanks to the Evanston Historic Preservation Commission, which wrote the grant, and First Presbyterian Church Cheyenne, which provided additional funds.
Donations were provided by Border Beverage, Cowboy Joe’s Liquor Barn, Discount Liquor, Sprits of Red Mountain, Home Décor, Smith’s Food & Drug, State Bank of Wyoming, The Lumberyard and Walmart.
The restoration work on the windows is being done by Scottish Stained Glass Windows in Centennial, Colorado, with an estimated completion date of mid-November.
