EVANSTON — Rip’s Groceries, the convenience store on the corner of Park Road and County Road in Evanston, was robbed last week, and officials are seeking the public’s help to identify the thief.

According to a Facebook post by Southwest Wyoming Crimestoppers, the incident occurred in the early morning hours of Friday, June 14. Security footage shows a man breaking into the store, causing damage and stealing property.

“If you recognize this subject, please contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 307-708-CASH (2274). This is anonymous and may be worth a reward up to $1,000,” the post reads. “As always, if you see something, say something.”

Evanston Police Lt. Ken Pearson told the Herald that the case is still very active, and detectives are working some very good leads and tips.
