The Uinta County Conservation District is asking community members to join them at the Lyman Town Hall to learn more about agriculture in southwest Wyoming. The district has organized Southwest Wyoming Ranch Day, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6.

Ranch Day scheduled, RSVPs due by Aug. 31

The Uinta County Conservation District is asking community members to join them at the Lyman Town Hall to learn more about agriculture in southwest Wyoming. The district has organized Southwest Wyoming Ranch Day, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6.

There will be several presentations given throughout the day that will cover topics of importance to those who live and work in this area. Some of the topics include weed management, sagebrush treatments, managing financial risk and opportunities, grazing management using electric fence, risk management, ranch hazard and key man insurance, general vaccination information, transition planning and more.
