Philip Brent Holloman

Philip Brent Holloman passed away on October 22, 2022, at the age of 65. 

He was born January 15, 1957, in Utah and raised his family in Evanston, 

Wyoming.  He moved to the Raymond, Washington, area four years ago to be 

near his children and grandchildren.  

Phil was married for 41 years to his loving wife Cyndi.  He had four sons, Ryan, Brice, Kevin, and Todd; he worked hard to cultivate a loving and supportive relationship with each of them and strived to be an exemplary role model.

Phil worked in the oil fields of Wyoming for 20 years, Homeland 

Security’s TSA for another 10 years, and the last 11 years worked in the 

field of mental health.  In the last 3½ years Phil described finally 

finding his calling as a Certified Peer Counselor for substance abuse 

clients. He loved helping and supporting others with the intention of 

making a difference in their lives.

Phil also loved to work with his hands.  He spent many hours working on home renovation projects and landscaping the yard.  He loved woodworking, hiking, and fishing; he 

loved being surrounded by nature. His favorite pastime was spending time 

with family; he especially loved moments with his three granddaughters 

and felt blessed that they were close enough to see often.  He also 

loved to play the guitar and sing around a campfire; he was a lover of 

all kinds of music. Phil was a joyful soul, with an infectious laugh and 

a warm bear hug for those around him.

Phil is survived by his wife Cyndi Newton Holloman; his sons Ryan (wife 

Ashley Carmody Holloman), Brice (partner Leylah Johnston), Kevin (wife 

Evangeline Young Holloman), and Todd; and his granddaughters Alice, 

Scarlett, and Cordelia. Phil was preceded in death by his parents Arthur 

Holloman and Elizabeth Swihart Holloman. Phil is also survived by his 

siblings Cheryl Holloman Landheim, Leslie Holloman Steiner, Andrew 

Holloman, and Jeffery Holloman.
