Last Monday was Presidents’ Day. I hope all took time to say thank you to the “one above,” who has blessed America since our separation from England; and our Founding Fathers, who gave us our Constitution and Bill of Rights; and George Washington who served as a long-term general to battle for America’s freedom; and later, a two-term president, Thomas Jefferson, who prayed every morning for America’s strength and ability to stand strong alone from England and to be the country she was meant to be and still is today.
Recently, our election gave us another two-term president who served America well before and will again through listening to our Father above.
We also are blessed in Wyoming to have honest, caring, intelligent representatives in our country’s House of Representatives and Senate, and in Cheyenne all those elected to represent Wyoming.
I always think of the many outstanding presidents before, but especially Lincoln and Kennedy, who both gave their lives for America, striving to make America better and fair to all.
America was ordained from above, and if all Americans remember him daily, he will continue to bless America and our allies. I’m proud to be an American, as I hope all of you here in America are. We are indeed a country of good, and we’ll continue to be as long as we live righteously.
