Former resident Bruce Harvey celebrated his 90th birthday this week. Born Aug. 6, 1934, in Mountain View, Bruce married Dian Harvey on July 2, 1963, in Salt Lake City. They have five children who all live in Salt Lake City. They also have 12 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Bruce is the son of Claire Lamond Harvey and Edna Fern W. Harvey. Bruce is deaf and attended the Utah School for the Deaf. Bruce retired in 1999. He was the former news pressman for the Herald from 1954 to 1955.
