Golf club lease discussed at city council meeting

EVANSTON — The Evanston Golf Club lease of the facility which houses the bar and restaurant at Purple Sage Golf Course has been a topic of discussion several times at the city council work sessions. Once again, at the work session on Dec. 12, the city council spent nearly an hour discussing that very topic.

Evanston Community Development Director Rocco O’Neill, an appointed member of the Golf Club Advisory Board, asked the council to consider a new lease agreement suggested by the golf club.
