Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 65 incidents between the dates of Monday, Nov. 6, and Wednesday, Nov. 8. Incidents included an alarm, two ambulance or medical assists, 12 animal problems, an agency assist, breach of peace, a citizen complaint, a citizen dispute, four citizen assists, three family fights and a juvenile runaway.

Officers also responded to a noise problem, non-vandalism property damage, four prisoner transports, two suspicious incidents, two traffic accidents with property damage, two traffic hazards, two trespassing incidents, unsecure premises, two vagrancy incidents, vandalism, two wanted persons, a child welfare check, and two welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested three persons between the dates of Nov. 6 and Nov. 8.

Justin B. Elkins, of Evanston, was arrested for misdemeanor probation revocation. 

William W. Lewis, of Evanston, was arrested for forgery/counterfeiting, bond revocation, misdemeanor probation violation and criminal entry.

Jason M. Williams, of Evanston, was arrested for failure to carry proof of insurance, domestic battery, theft, breach of peace and driving while under suspension.
