Evanston police incidents
Jan. 8-10, 2018
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 62 incidents between the dates of Monday, Jan. 8, and Wednesday, Jan. 10.
Incidents included three alarms, five ambulance or medical assists, eight animal problems, an agency assist, two citizen disputes, four citizen assists, a civil problem, discharge of a firearm, DWUS, a family fight, two harassments, an information report, a juvenile problem, two prisoner transports, suspicion and two hit-and-run traffic accidents.
Officers also responded to a traffic accident with property damage, a traffic complaint, a traffic offense, five property thefts, vandalism, a wanted person and a welfare check.
The Evanston Police Department arrested four persons between the dates of Jan. 8 and Jan. 10.
Chad M. Baroody, of Evanston, was arrested for criminal entry.
Lance K. Dean, of Randolph, was arrested for burglary, possessing a controlled substance and possessing paraphernalia.
Justin B. Elkins, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension and interfering with a police officer
Arjun K. Singh, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
