Evanston police incidents
Oct. 7-9, 2019
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 54 incidents between the dates of Monday, Oct. 7, and Wednesday, Oct. 9. Incidents included an ambulance or medical assist, eight animal problems, simple assault, an agency assist, a citizen complaint, two citizen disputes, controlled substance possession, three information reports, a juvenile problem, lost or found property, a minor in possession of tobacco, paraphernalia, non-vandalism property damage, two prisoner transports, suspicious activity, two school problems, a suspicious incident, three traffic accidents with property damage, a tobacco problem and four welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested two persons between the dates of Oct. 7 and Oct. 9.
Cody J. Elfgen, of East Alton, Illinois, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance.
Tasha M. Hagenbrok, of Wood River, Illinois, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
