Evanston and Lyman state swimming qualfiers

GREEN RIVER — The Evanston High School girls’ swim team will send four athletes to the Class 4A state meet in individual events, while Lyman will send 10 to the Class 3A meet.
Both teams had its regular season come to a close on Thursday night with a “last chance” meet at Green River.
Jade Caves, Marie Davis, McKinzey Camphouse and Rachel Buzarde will represent the Lady Red Devils in individual events at state Nov. 3 and 4 at Gillete.
Buzarde will compete in the 50, 100, 200 and 500-yard freestyle, along with the 100-yard backstroke.
Camphouse will swim in the 200-yard individual medley, the 50 and 100-yard freestyle and the 100-yard butterfly.
Davis recently earned the cut in the 100, 200 and 500-yard freestyle, while Caves will represent Evanston in the 50-yard freestyle.
The Lady Eagles, whose 200-yard medley relay team broke the school record last week, will be represented by Kira Walk, Maura Flake, Nikayla Garner, Brynlee Busskohl, Brooklyn Busskohl, Harper Hewitt, Samantha Weston, Emma Beck, Paytan Porter and Kaitlin Anson in individual events on Nov. 2 and 3 at Gillete.
