Danny Butterfield passed away Thursday, Aug. 17, in Seattle, Washington. He was a much-loved son, brother, uncle and dear friend. He was born on June 6, 1984, in Burley, Idaho. He was raised in Evanston.
While growing up in Evanston, Danny touched so many lives with his bright, shiny soul. He was academically and mentally beyond his years. He loved helping people, traveling and living in new places. He excelled at whatever he put his mind to. He enjoyed hairstyling, fashion, and spending time with family and friends.
Danny was survived by his sister, Priscilla Olsen; brother, Rodney Dale Butterfield; sister, Cindy Butterfield; and brother, Thomas James Ellingsworth (Ashley).
He is preceded in death by his mother, Susan Butterfield; and sister, Sabrina Harmon.
A celebration of life will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17, at the Bear Community Center and Pavilion in Evanston.
