Evanston Cowboy Days kicked off over the weekend, with the Labor Day parade seeing wet conditions Monday morning. Participation and attendance were still high on the unofficial final day of summer. The PRCA finals rodeo was scheduled Monday, too, but cowboys didn’t hit the arena at the Uinta County Fairgrounds until after press time. See next week’s Herald for more on this year’s Cowboy Days.
