The Uinta County Conservation District invites community members to attend the Small Acreage Equine Management Workshop on Monday, April 22, at 6 p.m. The workshop will be held at the Uinta County Conservation District Office at 204 East Sage St. in Lyman.

McKenna Julian, University of Wyoming educator in ag and natural resources, will present topics such as correct diet and exercise; grazing management, including how to design a grazing plan; poisonous plants; winter care; and costs associated with owning your own horse.

This will be a great learning opportunity for anyone with horses or anyone who is thinking about becoming a horse owner.  You can visit their website for more information or give them a call;  www.uintacountycd.com, 307-288-0214.
