EVANSTON — The Stained Glass Window Committee has provided an update on the Union Presbyterian Church’s window restoration project. On Feb. 22, the project coordinator of Scottish Stained Glass, located in Colorado, told the committee that the windows are 75% complete.
In order for the windows to be installed properly, the weather has to maintain a constant temperature of 40 degrees or above.
“Therefore,” states a letter from the committee, “we are anticipating an early spring installation date. UPC will continue to provide updates as received, with a final date of when our glorious windows are coming home.”
