Posted 8/1/23

EVANSTON — The three large stained glass windows at Union Presbyterian Church are 121 years old this year. They are badly in need of repair and restoration and with the support and assistance of the Evanston Historic Preservation Commission the church received a $42,000 grant from the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund to assist in that restoration.

The total cost of the restoration work is $85,152. The church maintenance fund has $35,652; they have raised $7,500 from an on-going fundraising campaign and $1,400 from a recent yard sale.
