Children’s Tylenol hard to find on shelves

In recent months, national media have reported on shortages in children’s acetaminophen, most often referred to as Tylenol. While most of these sources have largely covered the shortage’s effect on urban areas, its impact can be seen in Evanston. Shelves at Smith’s Food and Drug have an adequate supply of regular acetaminophen, but children’s doses are few and far between. Pharmacy staff at the store say that it has been that way for quite some time.
