Betty Jane Stapler, 100 years young, passed away December 6, 2022.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother with a big heart for her four-legged family members.
She traveled the world as a career military wife, working as a registered nurse along the way.
She loved music, dancing, sewing, crosswords, books and, of course, traveling.
She is survived by her children, Carl L. Stapler, Christopher Stapler, Konrad (Roni) Stapler, Jane Stapler, Geoffrey (InSuk) Stapler and Jennifer Stapler; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Carl F. Stapler; her parents, Raymond and Pearl Sheets; two sisters, Martha and Ginny; and a daughter-in-law, Jo Stapler.
There will be a graveside service at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, where she will be interred next to her husband Carl.
