The Uinta County Commissioners met in regular session on October 3, 2023 in the commission chambers, 225 9th Street, Evanston. Chairman Mark Anderson convened meeting at 2:00 p.m. Commissioner Brent Hatch and Commissioner Eric South were present.   Also present:  Amanda Hutchinson, County Clerk; and Andy Kopp, Sheriff.

Motion Hatch, second South to approve the agenda.  3 yes votes, passed.

Title Transfer

Motion South, second Hatch to authorize Chairman Anderson to sign 6 titles to various vehicles allowing the Sheriff’s Office to trade them in on new patrol vehicles as requested by Andy Kopp, Sheriff.  3 yes votes, passed.

Surplus Sale

Motion Hatch, second South to award the items listed in the county surplus sale to the highest bidders and to notify bidders that the items with vehicle titles will be available October 4th as requested by Jeff Breininger, Maintenance.  3 yes votes, passed.

Warren Hales Subdivision

Second Regular Meeting

October 17th, 2023

The official record of proceedings of the second regular meeting of the Evanston City Council for the month of October was held in the Council Chambers of City Hall on the above date. These proceedings were video recorded and streamed live.

Council President Sellers led those in attendance in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

The roll was called and with a quorum being present, Council President Sellers called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. and welcomed everyone present.

Those present from the governing body at the start of the meeting were: Mayor Williams (by phone); Council members, Tim Lynch, Jesse Lind, Evan Perkes, David Welling (by phone), Mike Sellers and Jen Hegeman.

The Evanston Housing Authority is accepting sealed bids to remove and replace (24) wall furnaces at out Saddle Ridge apartments.

This project will consist of removing and disposing of existing wall furnaces and provide/install new wall furnaces.

Furnaces will be or equivalent to Williams top vent counterflow wall furnace: 55K BTUH, NG 24V thermostat and 115V fan. The furnace must have intermittent electric ignition. Must also include adapting to existing flue and gas line. This may also require some modification to the existing wall.

This bid is subject to the Davis Bacon Prevailing Wages rule for Public Funded projects.

Bid will be taken until 2pm on November 14 when they will be opened and read aloud in our office located at 155 Apache Dr. Suite A, Evanston WY 82930.

Notice is hereby given that the Uinta County Conservation District (UCCD) is accepting bids for a Bear River Restoration Project to improve stream stability and reduce erosion and sediment loading in the Bear River.  The project involves an irrigation diversion reconstruction and restoration of approximately 6,300 feet of the Bear River located in Township 15N, Range 120W, Sections 8 and 17 north of the City of Evanston in southwest Wyoming.  Sealed bids will be accepted until 3:00 pm on Monday, November 13th, 2023 by the Uinta County Conservation District, 204 East Sage Street, P.O.
