Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents
June 14-20, 2021
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 107 incidents between the dates of Monday, June 14, and Sunday, June 20. Incidents included an abandoned vehicle, three alarms, three ambulance or medical assists, two animal problems, 11 agency assists, breaking and entering, a citizen complaint, two citizen assists, a citizen investigative contact, controlled substance possession, a DUI, DWUS, a emergency detention, eluding by motor vehicle, a family fight, two fires, fraud, 22 information reports, two background investigations, eight jail offenses, a juvenile runaway, keeping the peace, six livestock problems, a protection order violation, a prowler, a traffic accident with property damage, a traffic offense, two property thefts, three trespassing incidents, a wanted person and a welfare check.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested one person between the dates of June 14 and June 20.
Juan R. Saavedra, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant.
