Evanston police incidents
July 26-29, 2018
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 85 incidents between the dates of Thursday, July 26, and Sunday, July 29. Incidents included three alarms, an ambulance or medical assist, 21 animal problems, three agency assists, four citizen disputes, eight citizen assists, two DUIs, a missing person, two noise problems, paraphernalia possession,three suspicious incidents, trespassing, two wanted persons and 10 welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested six persons between the dates of July 26 and July 29.
Rodney W. Blakeman, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay.
Marcus L. Childress Jr., of Moss Point, Mississippi, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Widad M. Elmanna, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
Joshua L. Lively, of Evanston, was arrested for a felony probation violation and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Alexander W. Roberts, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.
Holly T. Thomas, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.
