Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 438 incidents between the dates of Thursday, July 16, and Wednesday, Aug. 5. Incidents included an abandoned vehicle, nine alarms, 12 ambulance or medical assists, 58 animal problems, simple assault, five agency assists, breach of peace, six citizen complaints, eight citizen disputes, seven citizen assists, two citizen investigative contacts, seven civil problems, three controlled substance possessions, marijuana possession, two criminal entry incidents, counterfeit funds, two curfew or loitering incidents, disorderly conduct, nine domestic violence incidents, five DUIs, DWUS, three family problems, two fireworks incidents, five harassments, 17 information reports, six intoxicated persons, four juvenile problems, a juvenile runaway, keeping the peace, lost or found property, two missing persons, four noise problems, paraphernalia, three parking problems, a prisoner transport, three protection order violations, property destruction, public relations, three non-vandalism property damage incidents, 15 suspicious incidents, two hit-and-run traffic accidents, 14 traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, five traffic complaints, a traffic offense, 11 property thefts, two threatening incidents, trespassing, unsecure premises, vagrancy, four wanted persons and 25 welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested 24 persons between the dates of July 16 an Aug. 5.

Steven A. Candelario, of Evanston, was arrested for probation revocation.

Michael A. Chitto, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence of drugs.

Stephen T. Cushing, of Mountain View, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Anthony J. Dotson, of Chandler, Arizona, was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Justin K. Dunford, of Evanston, was arrested for trespassing, possessing paraphernalia and shoplifting.

Kody W. Ellis, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.

Everett P. Francisco Jr., of Pinedale, New Mexico, was arrested for public intoxication.

Joshua R. Gorringe, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.

Joseph Harsha, of Evanston, was arrested for bond revocation.

Jaren Z. Johnson, of Evanston, was arrested for battery of a household member.

Shae Kingsley, of Evanston, was arrested for shoplifting.

Margaret Klatt, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence, driving while under suspension and resisting arrest.

Ronald A. Lopez, of Kennewick, Washington, was arrested for battery.

Bryant L. Martin, of Tallulah, Louisiana, was arrested for domestic battery.

Matthew K. Milam, of Evanston, was arrested for interfering with police, domestic battery and misdemeanor probation revocation.

Tobias W. Pacheco, of Evanston, was arrested for interfering with police and battery.

Nathan A. Patrick, of Evanston, was arrested for interfering with a police officer and breach of peace.

Jennifer C. Stokes, of Henefer, Utah, was arrested for shoplifting.

Amanda L. Taylor, of Thorton, Colorado, was arrested for criminal entry and property destruction.

Steven C. Taylor, of Thorton, Colorado, was arrested for attempting to elude, unauthorized use of a vehicle, possessing a controlled substance, reckless driving, interfering with a police officer, property destruction, driving while under suspension and possessing stolen property.

Levi T. Trimble, of Evanston, was arrested for violating a protection order.

Gerardo M. Vera, homeless, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Gerald I. Weekly, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Angela D. Wolsey, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic battery.
