Dwain (Bud) Booth was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, loyal friend and artist, who lived a life of service and led by example. He was born Jan. 29, 1940, in Columbus, Montana, to Evelynn (Fahlgren) and Dwain S. Booth.

He was a graduate of Eden Valley High School, class of 1958, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and officer of the Lander Police Department, Wyoming Highway Patrol, Uinta County Sheriff’s Office and Wyoming Stock Growers Association.

He retired serving the members of the Northern Arapaho Tribe through Tribal Housing before relocating to be with family in Roundup, Montana.

Dwain is survived by his two sisters, Sharon (Rod) Goddard and Gail (Dave) Bly; and his three daughters, Shellie (Jeff) Blodgett of Roundup, Montana, Cheryl Booth of Lander, and Kerry Booth of Greeley, Clorado.

There will be a graveside service in Reed Point, Montana, on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 3 p.m. and a remembrance open house on Sunday, Sept. 15, from noon to 4 p.m., at 90 Beard Rd., Roundup, Montana. Lunch will be served. Family members and friends are invited to attend one or both.
